Groups

All our programmes are available through tailored group sessions or individual one-to-one support. We adapt each programme to meet the needs, goals and circumstances of every participant and group.

Who benefits from cultural mentoring?

Our cultural mentoring is for people from all walks of life who may benefit from having someone walk alongside them as they strengthen their connection to who they are, where they come from, and where they want to go.

Strengthening identity and wellbeing

At Te Whenua Moemoea, we believe that wellbeing is connected to identity, culture, family, relationships, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing, and a sense of belonging. Through genuine relationships, we create a safe and respectful space where each person’s story, values, experiences, and strengths are recognised.

Your journey, your direction

Our mentoring is shaped around the individual, supporting them to build confidence, strengthen relationships, navigate challenges, make positive choices, and determine the direction they want their life to take. We walk with you every step of the way.

Our mentoring journey: Structure and flexibility

Our programs are designed as a three-year journey, delivered across 12 structured blocks, with each block running for 12 weeks. This allows participants the time and consistency needed to build relationships, develop skills, strengthen identity, and work towards meaningful long-term outcomes.

Flexible program options

Programs can be booked flexibly as a single 12-week block, a one-year program of four blocks, or the complete three-year journey of 12 blocks, depending on the needs, goals, and circumstances of the individual, family, and  referring organisation.
