Why choose Te Whenua Moemoea?
At Te Whenua Moemoea, we recognise that every person has their own story, strengths, culture and experiences. Our mentoring and programs provide a safe and supportive space to strengthen identity, build confidence, develop positive relationships, learn practical life skills, and work towards meaningful personal goals. Our sessions are hands-on, engaging, and grounded in connection. Alongside mentoring and individual support, participants can experience mahi toi (creative arts), raranga (weaving), kai (food and cooking), kapa haka, waiata (song), hākinakina (sport and physical activity), connection to te taiao (the natural environment), and a range of cultural, educational, and learning resources.
